Hey everyone. Just another random blog...its crazy how fast this summer is going by. I remember back when I was in middle school and like...4th grade or whatever, and summer seemed like an eternity. Now, going into my senior year of high school, summer seems like a blur of moments turned into 3 short months. I can't believe its already almost the
end of July. I've actually kept myself pretty busy so far. Last week, I got my schedule for senior year and its going to be such a joke...or other words...awesome. I got Film Appreciation class, which is going to be great. A Class where I get to just show up and watch movies. Other than that, I got like Art, Photography, other easy classes that I'm actually interested in. I'm really looking forward to Sociology and Psychology too.
But outside of all this school stuff...my band is still recording our demo. Its kind of a pain in the ass having to record in my room, but it must be done. I just wish someone else could sit behind the damn computer the whole time and work the programs and what not, lol. I just wanna show up and play guitar and record my vocal parts and then watch like the rest of the guys...but hey someone has to do it. Also, I sold my damn Ibanez that I won at the Dave Weiner clinic, very successfully. I got way more money than I expected to get out of it. Getting a new Dean seen...so that should be awesome. And other than that....nothing else is really going on, haha. See ya.

Well, the show yesterday went really well. It was like an hour and a half ride to get there and I was stuffed in the car with my gear and one of my buddies who I was bringin along to the show. Once we got there, the owner of the place wasn't there so us and the other bands had to wait for him to get there to open the place so we could start loading all our gear in. We went on first, which I didn't mind at all, because the majority of the people who showed up were there to see us. We had about a 35 minute set, we played 6 songs. The 2 brand new songs went over pretty well and I had a great time playing them. Really fun to play those songs live. This was my first show using my Mesa Boogie Roadster and all I have to say is that the tone was crushing.
So after that, we stayed to watch the next band, then mostly everyone left by the 3rd and final band, but I stayed for 1 of their songs. So yeah the show went good and then it was another long uncomfortable ride back home squished between my Mesa and my friend.

Hey guys, once again I managed to fail to keep my blog updated. But its summer again now, so we'll see if I can keep it up. I'm still kinda busy, but I'm finally getting on a healthy sleeping pattern again, so I will probably write the blogs in the morning.
Been really hard at work with my band lately, we've finally started workin on the re-recording of our demo, but we keep running into some issues with it, but its getting done nonetheless. If you go to my youtube page you can watch some of the Recording Video Journal we're keeping. Right now theres two vids up, but we're gonna be makin some more. We got a show up comin up on July 6th in Parlin, NJ, which is a pretty long drive, but hey, it should be a good show. Its our first show in like 4 months so we're gonna be playin to brand new songs at it which should be fun. Hopefully no one fucks up too bad, haha.
Other than that...uh, I'm sellin the Ibanez RG that I had won at a Dave Weiner clinic to someone locally, so my moneys being saved up and we'll see what that goes towards. Probably some sort of guitar, haha, cause I have an amp that I'm totally happy with (the Mesa Boogie Roadster) and all the pedals I need. So I really have nothin to spend my money on but guitars...cause I'm a guitar whore. I think I'll probably stop with that shit though when I have like...4 solid guitars, haha.
Also, I mentioned in my last post I was workin hard on gettin in shape..well I believe I have succeeded with that and am satisfied now. Over the past 4 years, I lost over 100 pounds...so yeah, I'm happy now.
Anyywaaays, thats the summary for the time thats passed since my last blog, I probably missed a ton of shit but its obviously not important enough to have effect at this point.
