Hey all!
So here's another blog with the pic of Corey. I really like that picture haha. It was so weird when he stood behind me and wrapped his arms around me xD. I said I was going to put this in my blog and then he made a comment like 'Woo I got my first blog' lol 
I haven't been doing much the last couple of days. I had an exam yesterday and I'm trying to learn for another one, but I can't think straight xD. Tonight I'm going to see Gallows again. That's the band my friend Nikita is addicted too haha.
I'm not going to be too active the next two weeks due to the exams I got. After that I've got 3 weeks off

Hey everyone!
I don't know where to start lol... The Black Crusade was fucking amazing!!! It was the best show ever! Period 
I went to the show in Amsterdam last Friday. I didn't get much sleep the night before and I had to wake up early. Not a good thing really. In the process of putting my stuff together I forgot to put the poster from the Rocksound and the confirmation e-mail in my bag xD. I wanted to get that poster signed, but oh well... Now I've got other things signed Usually I'm pretty slow in the mornings so I really had to rush to the train station. When I got there out of breath thinking I was a bit late, the train hadn't arrived yet. It was late! It took about 20 minutes to arrive at the Heineken Music Hall (the venue where the Black Crusade took place m/). As I got there, Kelly and Sascha were already waiting in front of the doors. They walked around the venue quite a couple of times that day lol. I just sat or stood there all day and occassionally took a stroll somewhere near. There's a huge billboard on the building which showed all the upcoming dates and of course Machine Head! I took some pics of that At around 2 PM my friend Nikita and me went to the reception to see if we could pick up our wristbands for the meet & greet. These weren't there yet, so we were allowed to wait inside. As she went to the bathroom I saw Sam from Dragonforce in the elevator and one of Trivium's roadies (the one that burps in one of the backstage vids on FV lol) walk past. A couple of minutes later Kelly and Sascha came to the reception as well so we were waiting all together. Then all of a sudden we saw Robb Flynn in the elevator! Kelly started shouting 'Hey Robb' and waved at him and then I said 'Hey' and waved at him as well and then we were all waving at him lol. He even waved back at us xD. We also saw Michael, Angela and Daniel from Arch Enemy and Brian from Shadows Fall. Damn, he's got cool hair. It looks amazing when he's headbanging I saw Melissa and I wanted to ask her a question about the meet & greet, but she had to go and said she'd be back later. After an hour of waiting she finally came to us and said we could pick up our wristbands and info at the box office an hour before doors opened. We went back to wait in line again. It was about 3 PM and still there weren't too many people waiting there hehe. I can't blame people for showing up later, because it was freezing cold xD. Soon after Tim (also a TW member) and his friend showed up. We all chatted a bit together. At 4 PM the box office still wasn't opened and I was getting worried about getting the wristbands etc. on time. I didn't want to lose my place in line after waiting for 8 hours. At around 5 PM the doors finally opened and us TWers headed straight for the box office. A lady there told us that the guest lists weren't available yet and that we had to wait 10 more minutes. Those 10 minutes passed pretty quickly and the guest lists still weren't there. We were getting a bit pissed off about this. It was pretty badly organized. Finally after about 30 or 40 minutes we got everything we needed for the meet & greet and headed towards the venue to search for Nikkie. She was already inside. Shadows Fall had already started. We got our way through the crowd and looked for my friend, but we only found her after Shadwos Fall.
Shadows Fall were great. I didn't know most of their songs though so I just started headbanging and I took some pictures. Arch Enemy were brutal!!! When they started playing Nemesis the crowd got squashed together haha. There was a massive pit going on in the middle Again I headbanged and took some pics. Halfway their set my memorycard stopped working 
Whilst trying to format my card, I think I deleted all of my pics xD. That sucks. I haven't checked it yet though. Before Dragonforce came on stage the crowd started chanting 'Bier en tieten' xD. For those of you that don't know any Dutch, it means 'Beer and tits' 
Dragonforce has got the funniest intro I've ever heard. I laughed my ass off xD. They tried to put on a great show, but their guitars were out of tune. I was usually wondering what song they were playing, because I couldn't hear the guitars at all. After they finished it was time to wait for Trivium haha. Nikkie and me switched with 2 guys in front row (we were in second row) just for Trivium. We hung our flag over the barricades and took a pic with it
And then.... The intro started!! I screamed my lungs out like crazy!! I had been waiting for this moment to happen for such a long time and now it really had started xD. Trivium's setlist was like this:

I sang along with all the words and screamed and headbanged. God, it was so good!! The sound was perfect, the lighting was brilliant, the solos were tight, they all played really tight and they got the crowd going crazy haha. Everything seemed to fit together perfectly. Matt saw the flag and smiled at me xD. I had eye contact with him a couple of times xD. Corey saw the flag as well and gave me the horns and then I gave him the horns and went nuts lol. Somewhere near the end of their set Travis sat down on the ramp on the right side of the stage where I was standing and he saw the flag too xD. He gave the horns as well and smiled too. Matt made the crowd sing 'Happy Birthday' to Ken, their guitar tech. That was cool. Unfortunately the show ended too soon Our little group got our stuff together and went to the backstage door where we were about to get picked up by Melissa. She brought us to the elevator. The same one where I saw Robb Flynn earlier that day xD. Melissa told us some rules and brought us to Trivium's dressing room.
This is were the fun part starts lol. I entered the room and I didn't know what the hell was going on xD. The guys all said hi and Matt came towards me and gave me a hug. Then either Corey or Travis asked if they could sign the flag for me. I wanted to give the guys the flag, but I then I decided to keep it. Corey said he saw that he saw the flag and gave me the horns during the show. I said that I saw that hahaha. For a moment I didn't know what to do. I was just looking around the room wondering what to do xD. Then I realized we had to give the guys their presents so I walked towards Kelly and Sascha. First we gave Matt his present. It was miniature Dimebag Dean guitar. While he was trying to unwrap it I had to hold the box for him xD. He was like 'No shit! I haven't seen these before'. Then Corey made a comment that he's got one of those only a lot bigger haha. Then Matt signed our stuff we brought along and he started grabbing things from my bag xD. After that we gave Paolo his present. It was a little white tiger. He liked it and showed it to Corey who said 'The Dreaded White Tiger' in that funny accent lol. We then tried to find Travis. I gave him the drumsticks I made for him. It's got his name, Trivium, the venue, the place and date and the Black Crusade written on the sticks. Travis said he was going to frame them and asked Kelly, Sascha and me to sign it for him xD. Then we went over to Corey to give him his present. I gave him a plate that says 'The King sleeps here'. He showed it to Travis and said he was going to put that above his bunk I got my flag, my ticket, my Crusade booklet (again), my Ascendancy booklet and my bag signed by all of the guys m/. Then it was time to take pics with the band. First everyone separately with the band and then a group photo with everyone. My friend didn't want to be in the pic at first, but we convinced her. I really like that picture. Then we had a chance to take individual pics with the band members. I like my pic with Corey best. I asked him for a picture and he just went standing behind me and he put his arms around and I was like 'What the hell is happening xD'. I'll put that pic in another blog I chatted a bit with the guys. Soon it was time to leave again. As I went walked out the room someone came after me and gave me one of my gloves that fell out of my bag. The others were already in the elevator so I took a sprint and managed to get in in time. We were back at the venue again when Melissa gave me Travis' gloves he wore during the show!! I mean, who can say that xD? That was so cool
Machine Head had already started when we got back. They were fucking brilliant!! The basslines and the double bass were thunderous, the solos awesome. Damn xD. No wonder everyone calls them MACHINE FUCKING HEAD lol. They played some of my favorite songs: Imperium, Aesthetics Of Hate, Halo and Davidian. There was no way we could get back to our places so we stayed at the side of the stage. I headbanged with the others and took some pics too. I really had a great time The show had ended and I went to the merch to buy some shirts. Trivium shirts weren't in my size so I had to buy medium instead of small. The hoodies were way to big so I couldn't buy one of those. I ended up spending 180 euros xD. Then me and Nikkie decided we should go back home and said goodbye to guys (Tim and his friend haha).
When we got to the station we said goodbye to each other. As I got the escalator to catch my train everyone just started chanting 'Machine Fucking Head' haha. Anyone there that didn't go the concert or didn't know what the hell it was about was just staring hehe. I got home pretty quickly and went straight to bed. I was pretty tired, but I had the best night of my life so far

Hey all,
It's been a long long while since I last updated my blog. Nothing much exciting had been going on in my life and I had to study a lot (still have to haha). I'll make it a quick update.
Let's see... I went to Taste Of Chaos about two weeks ago lol. It was good. I mean, the Black Crusade is going to be a hell of a lot better hahaha. Best bands were Gallows, Rise Against and The Blackout. Didn't really care for the others. Managed to get my ticket signed by Rise Against. I also got a signed poster by them.
The most exciting thing that has happened to me lately was being picked as FOTW last Monday 
Honestly, I didn't see that coming xD. But it's fucking great haha!!! My face is on Trivium's Myspace xD! That's weird, considering that they would never do that otherwise hehe. I'm seriously looking forward to the phonecall. I'll probably start mumbling or asking questions everyone else has already asked xD.
Next week Friday THE BLACK CRUSADE!!!!! Boy, have I been counting down the days for that hehe Sooooo looking forward to see Machine Head and of course Trivium It's going to be the best show I've ever been to! Kelly, Sascha and me have bought some presents for the guys, so I'm anxious to see their reactions hehe. Hopefully they'll like it. I'm also bringing a flag with me. Yep, the Dutch flag in Trivium style
That's it for my update. I probably won't be doing any updates soon, because of my upcoming exams at my university. Maybe I'll do an update next week after the show
