Dreamcheese and the Triviumworld package.
July 19, 2008 04:40AM
Hey all!
This week has been a week full of dreams. Ive had some serious weird dreams, like 5 nights in a row! First it was about locking bands from the Graspop festival in the toilet, then I got chased by two Japanese guys in a forest, the next one was about fighting in a war with Michael Amott from Arch Enemy, and after that we went to Greece for a school trip but I didn't have clean clothes and he said 'don't worry, there s a pool nearby where people often lose clothes you can find something fresh in there..
The next day Stephen and myself decided to try the 'Cheese' theory. I heard/ read that if you eat cheese before you go to bed, you will have more vivid dreams. So just before bedtime we ate lots of cheese, and it was lovely.
I went to bed and I did have very weird dream about me going to my internship and searching for eggbread, and then willy wonka made the streets flood and water was rising till the rooftops, but we could all breathe underwater which was pretty awesome.
I don't know if this was the effect of the cheese, cus I always have weird dreams like this. So ill have to wait till I have a period sometime where I don't dream as weird as normally haha.
Today I also had a weird dream again, about meeting some new and old people and meeting mikael akerfeldt from opeth who was doing really random stuff. Oh well
Yesterday I went to Amsterdam with Lisa, and it was fun. The weather wasn't really good but that didn't matter. She looked all over the place for this jacket and I was dragged along haha. But she finally found what she was looking for, after 4 hours XD
Then I bought Opeth - Damnation for only 6, 75 euros (I have this card with discount). After that I went to A Space Oditty again (the shop where I buy my DBZ action figures) and I bought an evil goku, ultimate form frieza and piccolo sacrificing himself for gohan. Also a big Cell, he can move his arms and legs xD
I also saw Batman Begins for the first time this week. SHIT that was amazing, SO much different than any other batman movie ever, this is so much more real and dark, truly amazing movie and I am really excited to see The Dark Knight next week, I heard that it's a true masterpiece!! I cant wait to see it =D
This monday i got my TW package!! i was so happy, everything was in it, a little damaged, but it was awesome, the dvd truly brought tears to my eyes, i couldnt be more happy with it! and now we will also get a package for year 2, how amazing is that...gosh
Thursday was TW's anniversary. I just wanna say once again thank you all, ive met so many nice and good friends here, I wouldn't know how to pass time without you guys, the community has become so big but good and I am happy that I have met all of you! *big hug to all* Thanks for being there!!
I might go on a holiday on Monday or Tuesday 28.29 july. I don't want to stay home with my brother, and I think my parents want to go to france so I think I will join them. I ordered 5 manga volumes (192 pages each)of dragonball z, so I wont be so bored during the 2-day trip in the car.
I cant wait till next week, Kirisute Gomen! all these good things coming our way, exciting time coming...its gonna be amazing!
Anyway, cya all on the boards!
Take care xx

Holidays!
July 12, 2008 07:56AM
Hey all!
It's been a while since ive written a blog, mostly when i skip a week it's cus of business, but last week there wasn't anything to write down! Hah this will probably be short, cus i don't have much to say right now either.
So what ive done since graspop...ive really gotten into Ministry, they were amazing live and the cd that i bought is very very good! Been listening to that one alot lately.
This week i went to Amsterdam with my friend Annelotte. She had to buy new shoes, and she bought sneakers! Tahts really something, she always buys pumps or high heels, ALWAYS. Im so proud of her to buy a different kind of shoes this time haha! I was also looking for a camouflage print jeans, but they were all so big int he store that i looked! i think i will have to keep on looking more to get one..
In Amsterdam i also bought 4 more action figures of Dragonball Z...I just cant get enough of those haha!
The weather has been awful here, and it's supposed to be summer! Im glad i still have Aikido next week as well, i would be even more bored if i wouldnt have that, yesterday we practiced kicking and that was really funny, im having more fun with those people everytime, its a real nice group! On wednesday we took Vliegje to the vet, juts a standard checkup + injection every year, nothing big all cats have that injection for the sneeze disease hehe. Its really funny though, my cat hates the vet and he never gets Vliegje out of her cage XD i filmed some of it its really funny hah
Ugh, that code on Triviumworld! It's a horrible thing really, i got the first one but im not even starting the second one. luke is the biggest teaser hah! i never liked anything to do with numbers and letters or anything math related in any way.
Anyway, i also bought a new agenda. I printed out loads of Trivium, Dragonball Z and japanese woodblock prints and put them in it so it will look cool, i also put pics with bands in it, i love it!
Oh and yesterday i had my drivers lesson. My teacher was a little grumpy and sick, so i felt really really unconfortable, and i almost even had an accident! It happened so quickly but i guess i was lucky that she pulled the steer, it could have gone really really bad cus that other car was speeding up like a madman, fucker.
Im really looking forward to hear the new Shogun songs, the titles are soo epic and i love how they are named after myth's and stories, the lyrics should be very interesting!
Today i bought my tickets for Trivium at the Unholy alliance tour! 119 days to go hehe. I also bought my ticket for Machine Head & Slipknot, and on Monday im gonna get a ticket for Opeth, really dying to see them as well cus ive been missing out on them, really annoying.
Anyway, hope you all enjoy what youre all doing, hope you have your holidays soon if you dont have it yet, keep all of your chins up and take care!
xx

Graspop 2008
June 30, 2008 03:54PM
Hey all!
Holy shit, i just got back from Graspop today, what an experience!
I was picked up by Sascha on thursday at 3 pm. We wanted to avoid the rush hour, but somehow we got in this big vacation rush hour, so we were delayed alot and got at the parking lot at 5:30 pm. It was already crowded, and we had to stand in the huge row for 2,5 hours! it was really long, and it wasnt supposed to take so long i dont know what the hell they were all doing out there. When we finally got through we had to walk about 15 minutes, and then we settled down and put up our tents.
The toilets there seemed to be pretty dirty, but at least the water was flowing, that was a good thing lol. i didnt really expect much of it, cus its still a festival! That night we went to explore the camping site, and met up with some drunken Finnish guy called Jacob, we had a pretty good laugh with him. We were also introduced with the sound waves (everybody starts screaming, one of those waves hit the ENTIRE camping, and it was awesome) and and Timmy-Phenomenon (every single person shouts 'Timmeehh!!', at day, but especially at night)
The next day it was raining alot, but the weather got better soon again gladly! The Bands we saw on friday were Tesla, Behemoth, The Lucifer Principle (Some guy was actually sleeping during this band haha, it was funny) Saxon, Def Leppard, Testament (too bad the sound was bad) Judas Priest and Ministry. Ministry were fu-cking incredible! I never expected they were so damn amazing and astonishing live, i had a blast and completely lost control, what a show!
The next day it was raining again in the morning, but again the sun started to shine in the evening. I was already afraid that i had to take my poncho with me again, its really annoying to drag things along at a festival! On saturday the grass that used to be green was turned to hay and dust, the festivalarea looked like crap! But it didnt matter. That day we saw Bleeding Through (only a small part, they werent really interesting) Korpiklaani (they are a great and fun folk metal band!) Iced Earth, Kiss and Cavalera Conspiracy. CavCon was fucking amazing, we were really close to the front, we got there one hour and 15 minutes before the show, so that was awesome. They started with Inflikted and it was great, the moshpits were crushing us and it was even hard to breathe! It was also great that they played some Sepultura covers, that really got the crowd going!
Kiss was awful. That band needs a big slap in the face for sure! They said 'we are going to play as much as we can' Hell no, they didn't do anything! A few songs, but that's it. All they could do is play some random easy and boring melodies and wait for the crowd to cheer for them, play some more bullshit, wait for the cheers, more bullshit, wait for cheers, fireworks, wait for cheers, drum solo of 15 minutes>? what the hell, it was boring! and then wait for cheers again obviously. They all did solos but those were not worthy of the time. Really, i think Kiss is only a name existing, their live performance was really bad.
On saturday i also heard Opeth got cancelled. Boy, did i get mad. We came across Natalie and she told us. I couldnt get any more awful news that day, Opeth was THE band of the festival for me, and ive been waiting to see them live. Gosh, it was awful.
The last day was the best one for sure. I went to see Rotting Christ at first. They are a great greek metal band, and the singer looked at me when i was jumpin up and cheering for them (the people around me were all kind of quiet). After that we went to see Black Tide, Apocalyptica and then Bullet for My Valentine. They really put up a great show, and Matt Tuck's vocals have definitely improved! After that we went to see Primordial, really different but great band, they played my very favorite song, and it was beautiful.
After that we sat down and listened to Avenged Sevenfold, they werent that special, way better on album even though i only have one album, but it was OK. Then we stepped into the line for Arch Enemy's signing session. Meanwhile In Flames started to play so i could listen to some of their songs while standing there and waiting. I got my ticket signed and Michael Amott remembered me! It was really cool, he's the coolness in person. The guards at the signing session were annoying, they kept pushing us and forcing us to move on while the band didnt even signed our stuff yet, ugh!
We got our stuff signed and hurried to the tent were Arch Enemy were playing next. We got there early to get up front, we got to the second or third row. I was supposed to go to Opeth then, but since that got cancelled i was really happy that Arch Enemy played at the same time, they were fucking amazing and i caught Michael Amott's pic! That guy is so great, he is really nice and amazing on guitar. There were SO many crowdsurfers though! Holy shit, they kept on coming in rows, it was crazy!
Then we went to see Iron Maiden. As expected, the show was amazing! They played a 2 hour set, and of course the most known songs were played along others they hadnt played for 25 years, so that was great!
I am really exhausted now. I lived on Pizza for 3 days hehe. Some other rhings that happened were naked people running around, some guy with just a small piece of clothing in front of penis with a thong, people sleeping during bands and in the middle of the path or toilets on the camping, people making petfarm sounds all over the place, and many things more.
All i can say is that the weekend was amazing, and that i am ready for next year! Hell yes!
Take care xx
Kelly
